Max Height

4ft minimum, 6ft maximum. Lake/conservation lots: 4ft on rear property line. Must transition 6ft to 4ft beginning 30ft from rear property corners in one section.

Setback / Placement

Front: 35ft from front property line OR 10ft behind front corner of house (whichever is further from street). Side/rear: on house-side of property line. Corner lots: 15ft min from side property line. Corner lot street-side fence cannot start more than 10ft forward from rear of home.

Gate Requirements

Access gate required. Must match fence design and material. Constructed to prevent sagging.

Additional Rules

• Shadowbox design ONLY — no other styles permitted
• Lake/conservation lots may use spaced wood picket fence on rear property line (outside placement, 2.25in max gap)
• Primary access road lots must also transition 6ft to 4ft starting 30ft from rear corners
• Fences may NOT be installed on drainage, utility, wall, or conservation easements
• Must be installed on house-side of easement line
• All posts and stringers must face interior of rear yard — not visible from street or neighbors
• No scallops or arch top fences — must rack with grade slope
• Augusta Ridge and Faberge sub-communities: black aluminum/wrought iron grandfathered until replacement, then must use shadowbox
• Finials allowed if same material/color as fence
• Lighted finials prohibited
• Neighbors with fence on both sides must place access gate on rear property line
